Is it possible that someone can view your webcam without you knowing about it? ?

I’m freaked out knowing that I don’t any privacy online. And if there is a way to view people’s webcams online, is there a way to make it private?

also, there should be an indication if it’s on or off, lights etc
Yes Its possible.. theres all kinds of hack for yahoo messenger even for the cam… they can hack into your cam with out u knowing it.. and if u piss someone off in a chat room they probably will hack into your computer.. cuz yahoo messenger is like a door into your computer for hackers…i know this cuz i searched it on google before… but any who nto much i can think of for to telll u to do then to un hook your cam..get a virus scanner and blocker from walmart or bestbuy… and probably onhooking your cam when your in a chatroom ..or just keep it unhooked until your ready to use it.. also get a good webcam that that had a light on it that tells you when your cam is bein watched i dont know what you call them but i heard of them…
